Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
ERGs promote change around needs specific to the communities within Penguin Random House. They provide opportunities for employee development, education, recruitment, retention, and business outreach.
Accessibility & Wellness
This group advocates for mental health and emotional well-being of the PRH community. Access Wellness strives to create safe spaces and provide resources to raise awareness and challenge stigmas.
POC@PRH
POC@PRH supports those who self-identify as racially or ethnically underrepresented with the goal to foster open spaces that encourage professional and personal growth, and cultivate a culture of inclusivity and self-expression.
LGBTQ Network
The network aspires to create community by providing a supportive environment to those who share the common idea of nurturing workplace diversity and aiming to increase awareness of LGBTQ+ issues, authors, and books.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are many volunteer opportunities that our employees partake in across the country. Volunteer locations include food pantries, thrift shops, non-profits, libraries, and more. Employees are eligible for two paid volunteer days per year.
Get to Know Your Colleagues
Mentor Match Program
Some of our most valuable development happens when we connect with colleagues. This program offers a unique opportunity: the ability to form new professional relationships across departments and divisions in a virtual world.
PRH Sports Teams
If you are based in the New York area, you can join our softball, basketball, tennis, or volleyball teams. All PRH employees are welcome to join.
Penguin Pairs
Penguin Pairs is a global opportunity to connect with colleagues across PRH's various locations. This program fosters professional relationships outside of our immediate workgroups.
Coffee Pals
We have launched Coffee Pals to help colleagues connect virtually. The app randomly matches employees together in pairs or groups for an informal chat, like the impromptu connections you would make in the office.
